Animation Video Tablature

VideoTAB is 'Guitar Hero'-style animated tablature for guitar and bass, showing what the artist is playing as he plays it. It features some of today's top musicians in the IMV 'Behind The Player' DVD series.

Each song is transcribed and animated by Skylab Digital, using Adobe After Effects. Each note, chord and articulation is an individually placed graphic, and there are typically 3,000 to 5,000 placed graphics per song.
